This is essentially about having the goal of aiming for Jannah and working towards it. We can never be complacent and we should think outside the box. As Muslims we have to always be on top of things from our salah, to our Qur’an and even our conduct. I’ve come to learn that we need to be proactive in order to succeed and be effective. We have to be people of substance, quality and action! Allah commands this from us so trust in Him and know that He will take care of us Insha’Allah.īelow are the seven steps which I feel we can take lessons from: This is exactly why we must also strive to be the best in everything we do. ![]() “…And whoever relies upon Allah – then He is sufficient for him.” (Surah Talaaq Verse 3)Īs Muslims, this aim or purpose must be in compatibility with the moral and ethical teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah. Principally this is someone who is successful in their pursuit of a desired action and they are able to produce results. When we come to think of the word ‘effective’, we must recognise that this is essentially someone who has a positive and constructive effect on themselves and the wider society at large. ![]() In a nutshell, I simply could not put this book down! I was in love with it as it has massively impacted me in my own life in terms of how I think, act and do things. It had a remarkable and extraordinary effect on my life Subhan’Allah. It also triggered me to form certain habits which would allow me to set goals, have high aspirations to thrive and become more effective in my general life Alhamdulillah. ![]() This wonderful book inspired me to strive to become a better version of myself. This book was given to me by a senior brother named Shahid Badshah (may Allah bless him). Whilst carrying out my studies for my masters, I was introduced to a book on the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. In doing so, I fundamentally believe that we will be able to draw nearer to Allah Most High. As Muslims we must always aspire for excellence in everything we do! We must also develop good habits exhibited by our beloved Prophet (pbuh).
